Music is an incredibly important ingredient in customer perception of your place. Using an AMS Audio only or Music Video System we can deliver you consistency across your brand or branches or franchise group. Add onto this On-Screen Advertising and you've got it made! AMS takes away the need for you to manage your music yourself, through automating the process. CD’s, MP3's and the associated frustrations such as theft, scratches, storage and updating the system yourself will be a thing of the past.

Our software is very easy to use while being fully functional. Among many other handy features our software has a compressor/limiter to protect your expensive amplifier and speakers by making sure the volume stays at a constant level. It's also incredibly stable and doesn't crash when you need it most. We monitor the systems stability via the internet so we are likely to know before you do that there is a problem. Our music video systems now support two video outputs along with another audio only output. This means you can have three zones all at once all on the one system. This allows you to have two different music video channels or maybe a dedicated ads channel, a music video channel and a further audio only channel on a single system!

AMS Music & Video Systems can be used for background music, or if you have a DJ the software has all the bells and whistles that a Professional DJ might require, all at no additional cost. You also get our unique 'Hot Key' play list generation system. With just 2 key strokes you can generate a play list for an entire day, or the whole week! Even better the music can be automatically scheduled to play when you want.

To ensure what is set out to play is played and those not authorised don't fiddle, we can lock the system down, we can also give you full remote access via any internet connection in the world. In addition, every song played is logged.

Due to licensing regulation from APRA and RIANZ we cannot outright sell you the music, we lease it to you. We give you the option of buying the computer hardware required or leasing it. Lease terms are typically 24 or 36 months.

Regardless of who you get your music from be it a CSP (Compilation Service Provider) like AMS, CD's, the Radio or Sky you still need to hold a Public Performance Licence from APRA AND PPNZ/RIANZ. Choose an AMS Music or Music Video System and get a 10% discount from PPNZ/RIANZ. If you're also a HANZ Member then you get a 10% discount from APRA.

We supply you with the software, music and the computer to run it on, and install it for you. The computer is plugged into an existing or new amplifier and speakers, also to your screens if you choose a music video system. In most cases where you have a current music system or CD player no other cabling is required. Music and categories are updated as often as you require. Updates are really easy too and take around 3 minutes.

We have a huge range of music, over 80,000 audio, music video and karaoke tracks, and a huge range of genre's/categories and styles (you get over 90 with every system). See our music page to search the list. While 80,000 songs doesn't sound huge on a world scale we have carefully added music that our customers want. That way you get the music that you require rather than a whole load of filler. Each audio system is pre loaded with at least 20,000 initial songs and our music video systems with at least 30,000. Plus if you choose the Karaoke option you'll get over 10,000 tracks. We have access to one of the largest audio and music video libraries in the world.

Music updates are not limited to 'x' number of tracks per month, or a chosen 'style' (ie, you don't only get one update disc per month of say, rock or pop songs). Our monthly/quarterly music updates are extensive, basically you get everything new that we've added since your last update. If you want to freshen the whole library then this is not a problem with an AMS Computer Music and/or Video System. You can now choose from our entire music library and beyond.

If you have more than one area (zone) in a premise that you require different music for, like upstairs and downstairs, no problem! You can have up to 4 zones on one PC at no extra cost!

Technical Stuff & Features Your VJ/DJ Will Want/Need

DJ's & VJ's have requirements that are not used day to day for background music. Our Music & Video Systems deliver with some of the most advanced features available, many of which are exclusive to an AMS Music & Video System.

Automated beat mixing you can rely on and trust with quality, accurate, professional results.

• Songs can be randomized and still achieve phase-mixed automated beat mixing at an appropriate mix-length.
• Slider range options (+/- 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 & 100%). Time-scale right down to stationary and up to double-speed!
• High-quality Time-scaling produces clean mixes and allows mixes with large differences in BPM.
• The BPM is stored in the song file at 4 and a half decimal places for a high level of accuracy (e.g. 130.89209) plus there is one BPM for intro and outro for best accuracy.
• Optional click-seekable mix overview progress bar.
• BPM columns in all list areas and both BPM native & adjusted displayed in deck.
• Intelligent volume management during auto beat mixes.
• Mix lengths are not simply a fixed, set duration. They are in fact dynamic per song combination.
• Maintain or restore tempo beat mixing modes.
• Match A-B BPM control for manual beat mixing.
• The professional format of the files (songs) will allow instant play and seeking of music video's or audio in a deck, including backwards play, time-scaling from 0% to 200% (stationary to double-speed), pitch-shifting and scratching (even including all at once, which allows things like key-changing).
