Want to know the hottest tunes and what is being played at venues just like yours across the country? If you're a Hospitality NZ member you get this FREE and there is a new chart every month. Simply login to to Hospitality NZ website here and look for the AMS logo under the Food & Beverage. If you an AMS customer we can email this to you along with other useful information FREE. Just another great reason to be with AMS.

August 2011

We just reached another major milestone with our music library we just rocked past 100,000 tracks in our media library and we're not stopping there. We add between 300 & 1000 new tracks per month. Only AMS add this many songs in a month. It's all about value for money.

We've just added another 150 new and back catalogue Karaoke tracks to all karaoke systems. We added over 700 new audio/video tracks in April and over 1100 in March. No other music system provider in New Zealand gives you this much variety! Looking for new music? Don't forget you can also request tracks you want added.

February 2011 Christchurch Earthquake 2011

Our sympathy goes out to all those in Christchurch who have suffered and lost loved ones. One of our staff was in Christchurch yesterday when the quake hit and has since returned.

As we did last time we intend to support our customers through this hard time. We will be giving ALL our Christchurch customers a credit and with the option of donating this money to The NZ Red Cross Earthquake appeal. Most have chosen to take up this option. In addition AMS have stopped billing all Christchurch customers until they are able to re-open.

We are urging you, as we have, to make a donation to the Red Cross. You can do that here

Just added over 4500 new and back catalogue Karaoke tracks!  That brings the total of Karaoke tracks to over 15,000.  Karaoke is available on all our video systems on request and on any audio system.

6/9/2010 – MUSIC TO CANTERBURY’S EARS

Computer based music system provider Automated Music Systems is providing all of their customers a month free on their leases following the earthquake.

Today the Co-Director of Automated Music Systems Brent de Bres announced that they would provide some good news for all their Canterbury customer’s.  He said “Being a Wellington based company they are only too aware of the risk of earthquakes.  With a large customer base in Christchurch this is not an insignificant amount of money, but in a situation like this it’s just what you do”.

Automated Music Systems are a wholly New Zealand owned and operated company providing computer based music systems for Bars, Restaurants, Gyms, Hotels and Retail outlets throughout NZ.

Mr de Bres said “We’re aware that many of our customers and their families have suffered both emotionally and financially.  We’re good buggers, and we thought let’s give every one of our Christchurch based customers one month's free music system lease to help out.  What’s more, we at AUTOMATED MUSIC SYSTEMS CHALLENGE OTHER BUSINESSES TO DO THE SAME!”

Automated Music Systems are pleased to see that most of their customers appear to be back on-line after this tragedy.  Mr de Bres said “As usual our customers can get in touch with us anytime if we can assist further.  Contact details are available on our website www.musicsystems.co.nz”

While our competitors are busy promoting themselves on your screens only AMS allow you to have your logo on-screen over the video's (just like the TV stations watermark but better - see below.  Your logo would be where ours is. We are not aware of ANY other operator to offer this in the NZ market.

We welcome a new member of staff Sarah.  Sarah's roll will be varied however she will mainly be here to rollout our further training sessions.  These are free as usual and all customers will get a call at least once a quarter.

August 2009

AMS refreshed logo and and branding.  This will be progressively rolled out on all our machines.

We have launched a new tool mainly for our video customers called the AMS Toolbox.  The AMS Toolbox enables you to simply add images to your slideshow direct to the machine via USB flash drives or in newer machines almost any removable storage like SD cards.  All Video machines will progressively have multicard readers and DVD ROM's added. The DVD's will also help with further support for BOTH quiz companies.  AMS video systems now fully support Livewire and QuizIt.

Also in the major updates being rolled out are is new software so that you can create your own images directly on the AMS Machine and edit them, we have added software to report computer software errors to us directly and a whole lot more.

January 2009

AMS systems now support Dual video.  Our music video systems now support two video outputs along with another audio only output.  This means you can have three zones all at once all on the one system.  This allows you to have two different music video channels or maybe a dedicated ads channel, a music video channel and a further audio only channel on a single system!
